The Victoria Botox® Clinic runs out of the Eagle Creek Medical Clinic (in View Royal, near the Victoria General Hospital) on multiple days of the month. Call during weekday business hours (778-265-1377, ext. #1) to book in for the next clinic with Dr. Ward.
Strict Covid-19 precautions, including social distancing standards, will be applied at all times during the operation of the Victoria Botox® Clinic. Dr. Ward takes patient safety extremely seriously and uses guidelines from the BC Center for Disease Control. The clinic itself is subject to closure (and appointment cancellation) at any notice.
Patients with significant medical problems (or a compromised immune system) should not undergo cosmetic Botox® at this time.
Patients are to arrive only at their scheduled appointment times, and wait outside the main door of the Eagle Creek Medical Clinic until escorted inside the building/exam room. Please follow the instructions of the posters outside the main door.
While waiting outside, patients are to observe at least 2 meters of distance from any other person in the area.
Patients are expected to bring and wear their own masks, except during the actual Botox® procedure (depending on the area treated). If a patient does not have a mask, the Victoria Botox® Clinic will provide one free of charge. Patients are expected to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building (provided) and will often have their temperatures checked at the door.
Patients are asked to complete the informed consent form while waiting briefly outside (this will be posted in a spot easily viewable). Please wipe down the pen you use with an alcohol swab (provided).
Patient appointments are one person at a time (e.g., pairs cannot be treated at the same time unless closely within a "social bubble").
Only Dr. Ward will “room” each patient and clean the exam area in between visits to reduce contact with other staff/patients at Eagle Creek Medical Clinic.
Screening Questions (if a patient answers in the affirmative, the Botox® procedure cannot proceed and Dr. Ward will direct next steps as appropriate):
1) Do you have any cold or flu-like symptoms?
2) Have you returned from travel in the last 14 days?
3) Have you had exposure to a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
